3, Kendal Mint Cake
Kendal Mint Cake is the most famous mountain food you’ve never heard of. It hails from the town of Kendal in the Lake District, England and has been a favourite on mountain snack for generations of British expeditionaries, mountaineers and climbers. It has helped some of the most famous explorers in history achieve their goals, such as Sir Edmund Hillary on the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953 and is a standard part of the 24-hour ration pack issued to the Irish Defence Forces. 4, Lifesystems First Aid Kits
